This quick and easy Mango Dessert is a No Gelatin, No Agar-Agar dessert you can make during the season! With sweet mangoes you will have a delicious dessert in no time.
Ingredients
* 2 Ripe Alphonso Mango Pulp
* 11/4 cup Milk +1/4 cup milk
* 1/2 cup Sugar
* 1/4 cup Corn Flour
* 1 tsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
1. Peel the skin and cut into small pieces. Add this to the blender along with 11/4 milk and 1/2 cup sugar.
2. Blend it well to make a smooth purée
3. Add a pinch of salt.
4. Make a slurry of corn starch and 1/4 cup milk. Stir it welll and set aside.
5. Put the sauce pan on medium flame, keep stirring it well so that the whole mix gets well blended.
6. When it starts to boil, cook on 5 minutes until the mixture starts to bubble.
7. At this stage lower the flame, add the cornflour slurry and quickly mix well to combine everything.
8. Continue cooking for 5 more minutes, then remove the pan from flame, add the lemon juice and mix well.
9. Add at the very end else milk will curdle.
10. Transfer to a greased bowls, cover with cling film and let it cool down.
11. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
12. Serve chilled.
