Chinese food in less than 30mins? Yes sir yes! Made this delicious Mongolian Chicken last night and it was a hit. Not to brag but, this was approved by my MOM.
Recipe:
-In a pan, add oil, cook thinly sliced chicken for 4-5 mins on medium to high flame. If you like chicken a lil crispy, coat it with corn flour, like I did. This is totally optional. Set aside the chicken.
-In the same pan, add some more oil, ginger garlic(voiceover makes me nervous, so omitted ginger in the video?)dried red chilli. Saute until raw smell is gone. Then add 3tbsp soy sauce, 2tbsp brown sugar. For a lil bit of heat, I added 1tbsp sriracha. Pour 3/4cup water and let it simmer.
-Add chicken, corn flour slurry. Once it thickens a bit, add red bell pepper, spring onion. Cook for 2-3mins.
-Enjoy with some rice while hot!
