Marry Me Chicken Recipe | Garlic Sun Tomato Chicken
“Hello everyone! Welcome back to our kitchen. Today, we’re going to make a dish that’s so delicious, it might just make someone propose! We’re making Marry Me Chicken. Let’s dive right in!”
Ingredients –
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish”
“Let’s start by seasoning our chicken breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper.”
“Now, let’s heat up some olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.”
“Once the oil is hot, carefully add the chicken breasts to the skillet. We want to sear them until they’re golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.”
“Once our chicken is nicely browned, we’ll remove them from the skillet and set them aside for now.”
“Now, let’s add our minced garlic to the same skillet. We’ll sauté it until it’s nice and fragrant, about 1 minute.”
“Next, we’ll pour in our chicken broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Give it a good stir to combine all those delicious flavors.”
“Once our sauce is simmering nicely, it’s time to add our grated Parmesan cheese. This will help thicken up the sauce and give it that creamy, cheesy goodness we all love.”
“Now, let’s add our chicken breasts back to the skillet, spooning some of that delicious sauce over the top.”
“We’ll let our chicken simmer in the sauce for another 5-7 minutes, or until it’s cooked through and tender.”
“And there you have it, folks! Our Marry Me Chicken is ready to serve. Just look at that creamy sauce and juicy chicken. Garnish with some fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and flavor.”
“Mmm, absolutely delicious! Trust me, one bite of this Marry Me Chicken and you’ll be saying ‘I do’ to seconds. Thanks for joining me today, and I’ll see you next time in our kitchen. Happy cooking!”
