Recipe #51 || Mughlai Chicken /Easy Mughlai Chicken Recipe/മുഗളായി ചിക്കൻ @ShrazNest
INGREDIENTS:
1. Chicken – ½ kg
2. Curd – 6 tbsp.
3. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
4. Onion – 3
5. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
6. Red chilly powder – ½ tsp
7. Almonds ?(Badam) – 100 grams
8. Red chilly – 5
9. Whole pepper – 1 tsp
10. Whole coriander – 1 tsp
11. Cumin seed– 1 tsp
12. Cloves – 2
13. Ghee – 2 tbsp.
14. Cooking cream /fresh cream– ½ cup
15. Green chilly – 3
16. Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
17. Salt to taste
How to cook:
1. Marinate the chicken by adding curd, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and red chilly powder, salt to taste and mix well.
2. Keep it for rest for at least 15 minutes.
3. Heat a pan and add almonds, red chilly, whole pepper, whole coriander, cumin seed and cloves.
4. Roast it for 1 minute and then grind it in a mixer and make it fine powder.
5. In the same pan heat ghee and some oil.
6. Add chopped onion and fry it till it turns brown.
7. Fry the marinated chicken in the same pan.
8. Add the roasted almond powder to the chicken and mix well.
9. Add curd and mix well.
10. Add cooking cream and mix well.
11. Add the fried onion and mix well
12. Add green chilly mix well and close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
13. Add kasuri methi and mix well and cook for 2 more minutes.
