Ingredients:
Chicken on bone 1Kg
Bamboo shoot – 2tbsp
Crushed ginger garlic – 2tsp
Green chillies – 10-12 finely chopped
4 Tomatoes cut into half
2 chopped onions
2 tsp meat masala
A handful coriander leaves
3-4 pieces colocasia leaves (arbi)
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 litre water
Method:
Heat 1litre of water in a pan
Add tomatoes
Cover and blanch the tomatoes
Remove on a plate and peel of the skin.
Chop the tomatoes roughly
Put them back into the water
Add salt, pepper, ginger and garlic paste
bring to a rolling boil
Add chicken pieces
Add bamboo shoot.
Add green chillies
Cover and cook the chicken for 10 minutes
Add coriander leaves
Add colocasia leaves (arbi)
Add meat masala
simmer till chicken is completely cooked.
Add lemon juice and stir.
Turn off the flame.
