Today I am making orange chicken my way. This is easy to make and the glaze for this is tasty. This is great for dinner served with steamed rice.
I like to use tender pieces of marinated chicken breast but boneless skinless thigh meat works great as well.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lbs to 2 lbs (680 g to 907 g) boneless skinless chicken
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 white pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp (22.5 ml) cooking wine
BATTER
3/4 cup (102 g) all purpose flour
1/4 cup (30 g) corn starch
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 large egg
1/3 cup to 1/2 cup (79 ml to 118 ml) water
SAUCE/ GLAZE
2 Tbsp (30 ml) cooking oil
2 tsp garlic paste (or minced)
1/2 tsp ginger paste (or minced)
2 scallions (whites)
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/4 cup (60 ml) orange juice
1/2 cup (118 ml) chicken broth
1/4 cup (62 g) orange marmalade
5 Tbsp to 6 Tbsp (70 g) sugar
2 Tbsp (30 m l) rice vinegar
1 1/2 Tbsp to 2 Tbsp (22.5 ml to 30 ml) low sodium soy sauce
1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp (15 g) corn starch (for slurry)
2 Tbsp (30 ml) cold water (for slurry)
1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
