Ingredients:
1.5 lbs chicken tenders (however i think they originaly use chicken thighs)
2 eggs
1/3 cup corn starch
1/3 cup plain flour
2 tsp soy sauce
salt (approx 2 pinches)
black pepper
1-2 tbs water (add so that batter is not too thick or too loose)
Vegetable oil for frying
Rice ( I used Jasmine with butter and salt)
Green onion garnish
Sauce:
1 cup brown sugar
3-4 tbs orange zest
2-3 tbs orange juice
1 tsp paprika
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs rice vinegar
1 tsp salt
minced garlic
minced ginger
*Approx 4 servings
**You may also add 1/2 tsp cornstarch with 1 tbs of water and add it to the sauce for thickening. However, I skipped this step.
** Bring sauce to a boil before adding chicken
