Here’s the recipe:
PETAL PISTOL
1 ½ oz. (45ml) Tequila
½ oz. (15ml) Cointreau
½ oz. (15ml) Applejack infused with Hibiscus
¾ oz. (22ml) Lime Juice
¼ oz. (7ml) Simple Syrup
2 dashes chocolate bitters
2 drops Saline
Garnish: Dehydrated Hibiscus flower, Tajíin
PREPARATION
1. Rim the edge of a rocks glass using a lime wedge and coarse salt. Set aside.
2. In a shaking glass or tin, combine tequila, cointreau, hibiscus infused Applejack, lime juice, simple syrup, 2 dashes of chocolate bitters and 2 drops of saline. Add ice and shake well.
3. Strain mix into the rimmed glass over ice.
4. Sprinkle Tajín powder over and garnish with a dehydrated hibiscus flower. Enjoy responsibly!
