Filipino dessert made of coconut and grated cassava or kamoteng kahoy a traditional Filipino dessert.
Ingredients:
2 cups Cassava Grated
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Coconut milk
1 cup Coconut grated (Set a side)
2 drops pandan flavor
1 to 2 drops green coloring food ( Optional )
Banana leaves – such as for Plate decoration ( Optional )
Cooking Directions :
In a Mixing Bowl Combine the 2 cups Cassava grated, 1/2 cup Sugar and 1 cup Coconut milk stir Until Blend, after Mixing transfer to a Clean Dry non-sticky Pan, Set the heat on Low then stir your Mixture well after 10 minutes you can add pandan flavor or Coloring food mix well, after 15 to 20 minutes of stirring your mixture should be thick and dry enough similar to the texture of Dough transfer the dry mixture into a Bowl and wait for it to Cool after 10 minutes, you can start Rolling them into balls then add the grated Coconut Serve and Enjoy!
