Pizza Stuffed Chicken Recipe:
Ingredients:
– 1 lb. boneless chicken breast
– 1 tsp. minced garlic
– ½ cup marinara sauce, low sodium
– 8 slices turkey pepperoni
– ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese, part-skim
– Dash of black pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray baking dish with nonstick spray.
2. Butterfly chicken and place in baking dish. Season with pepper inside and out.
3. Open chicken and spread minced garlic. Top with a few spoonful of marinara sauce, few slices of pepperoni and then a few spoonfuls of cheese.
4. Close chicken and pour leftover marinara sauce, cheese and pepperoni on top.
5. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
