Red Velvet Brownie
Ingredients
Unsalted Butter – 150 Gms
Cooking Chocolate – 150 Gms
Sugar – 2 Cups
Egg – 4 Nos
Vanilla Essence – 1 Tsp
Red Food Coloring – 3 Tsp
Maida – 1 1/2 Cups
Salt – 1/2 Tsp
Baking Powder – 1 1/2 Tsp
To Make Cream Cheese Frosting
Hung Curd
Vanilla Essence – 1 Tsp
Powdered Sugar – 1/3 Cup
Unsalted Butter – 25 Gms
Method:
Heat a pan and melt the butter
Once the butter is melted, add chocolate and stir it continuously
Cool the mixture completely
Transfer the contents to a bowl, add sugar and mix well
Add the eggs one at a time and mix well
Add the red food coloring and vanilla essence and mix well.
Add flour, salt, baking powder and stir until fully incorporated.
Preheat oven to 180C degrees for 10 mins
Grease a cake tin with butter and line it with butter paper
Pour the brownie batter into the cake tin and bake for 40 minutes
Cool completely.
To make the frosting
In a bowl, add the hung curd/ yogurt, vanilla essence, and powdered sugar and beat until creamy.
Add butter and beat it again
Frost the cooled brownies and serve them immediately.
