Restaurant Style Chicken Maharani | How to make Maharani Chicken Curry | Mughlai Chicken Recipes
Chicken Maharani recipe is a royal dish and the most popular and trending dish appreciated by millions daily in many restaurants. Chicken Maharani is spicy yet rich textured gravy. It is made up of onion-cashew-green chilli paste and many other flavorful ingredients. The taste of this dish is just lip-smacking and amazing. Serve this yummilicious dish with naan, kulcha or paratha or even plain steamed rice.
So here’s the recipe from my kitchen to yours.

Ingredients :
500 gms Chicken (large pieces with bones)
Marination :
½ tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt as per taste
½ tsp Lemon Juice
Roasting of Whole Spices :
1 tsp Coriander Seeds
½ tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 tsp Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
3 Green Cardamoms
3 Cloves
12 to 15 Peppercorns
2 to 3 thin blade Mace (Javitri)
1 stick Cinnamon
Onion-Cashew Paste :
1 large (125 gms) Onion (roughly chopped)
12 Cashewnuts
3 nos. Green Chillies (less spicy ones)
2 tbsp Milk
Other Ingredients
3 to 4 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 stick Cinnamon
1 Green Cardamom
1 Bay Leaf
1 heaped tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
100 gms Fresh Curds (well beaten)
200 ml Milk
2 to 3 tbsp Fresh Cream
1 tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi) roasted & handcrushed
2 to 3 tbsp Coriander Leaves
Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
