Rose Momos/Chicken Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients
Dough
All-purpose flour -1 cup
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil -1 tbsp
Water – 1/3 cup
Knead together and make the dough. Place a cling wrapper or wet cloth over the dough and keep it aside for 2 hours
For the filling
Boneless chicken – 1 cup
Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Salt -1/2 tsp
Marinate and cook for 20 mts.
Butter -1 tsp
Cummin seeds ( crushed) – 1 tbsp
Coriander powder-1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Onion -1
Spring onion -1/4 cup
Celery – a dash
Saute all the ingredients in a tsp of butter.
In a mixer blend together the cooked chicken and sauted mixture.
Mix the minced filling in a bowl and add 1 tbsp vinegar. Salt if necessary.
For Salsa
Place two tomatoes in boiling water.
Peel out the skin and beat it.
Garlic – 4 flakes chopped
Red chilly flakes – 1 tsp
Jeera powder -1/2 tsp
Lime juice -1 tsp
Mix together to a fine paste.
