Easy and delicious dessert Self crusting, apple pie

Ingredients for the south crusting apple pie

1-9 inch pie plate buttered
5 apples, peeled and thinly sliced ( more or less)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 large egg, beaten
6 tablespoons of melted butter
3/4 of a cup of all purpose, flour
1 teaspoon
1/2 cup of chopped nuts (pecans, or walnuts)

Fill buttered pie plate, even with brim with apples. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples. Combine egg, remaining sugar, flour, butter, vanilla, and nuts. Spread mixture over apple slices. Bake at 350°F or 175°F about oven for about 50 minutes or until lightly browned.
