Doodh seviyaan
ingredients
750 ml milk
3 tbsp sugar or as per taste
2 tbsp full roasted vermicilli (u can add a tbsp more)
1 tbsp cashews chopped
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp almonds sliced
1 tbsp pistachionuts sliced
1 tbsp charoli
a few saffron strands
2 cardomon pods or cardomon powder
Method
Remove 1/4 cup milk aside and soak saffron in milk …
Boil remaining milk ….once milk starts boiling well add vermicilli mix well…
Boil 2 to 3 minutes on low flame then add cardomon pods sugar and saffron milk
Boil for 2 to 3 minutes on low to medium flame stirring continuosly till sugar melts completely
Now add dry fruits one by one charoli cashews raisins almonds and pistachios
Lower the flame and simmer 10 to 12 minutes till the nuts and vermicilli are well cooked and milk is reduced little
Once milk mixture is little thick u can reduce as per ur choice keep it thick or thin as required
Off gas relish warm or chilled
