“Shahi Chicken Korma” the name says it all… A royal mughlai creamy cooked chicken marinated with yogurt and spices. So lets have a look into the ingredients required.
Ingredients:
For marination
Chicken – 900 grms
Salt – 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Curd – 2 tbsp
For Dry masala
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Green Cardamom – 6 nos (only seeds)
Black Pepper – 5 nos
Clove – 2 nos
Cinnamon stick – 1/2 inch
For gravy
Onion – 250 grms
Oil – 1/2 cup( you can also make it in ghee)
Green cardamom – 8 nos
Black pepper – 6 nos
Cinnamon stick – 1 inch
Clove – 4 nos
Bay leaf- 2 nos
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Curd – 180 grms
Almond paste – 10 nos
Kewra – 1 tsp
Water – 1 cup
Note: Grind fried onions just before adding to the gravy or else the gravy will become dark.
