Ingredients:
8 Bread slices
Pure ghee 2 cups
Syrup:
Water 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Saffron 10-12 strands
Green cardamom pdr 1/4 tsp
Rabdi:
Milk 4 cups
Sugar 4 Tbsp
Khoya 1/3 cup
Saffron 10-12 strands
Green cardamom pdr 1/4 Tsp
Coconut mixture:
Dry coconut pdr 1/3 cup
Greeen food colour 3drops
Water 2 drops
Method for preparation:
Heat milk in a deep pan,boil it on low to high flame.
Keep stirring and scraping the sides of pan , cook till it reduces to 1/3rd. Add khoya mix well.Add saffron and nuts.
Heat another pan,add water,sugar,saffron,green cardamom and cook it till sugar dissolves completely.
Take another pan and heat ghee, fry bread slices in it.
Transfer the slices of bread into the sugar syrup for about 30-40 sec,transfer to another plate.
Assembling:
Coat each slices of bread in coconut mixture,place it on serving plate.Pour some rabdi over it.Garnish with sliced almonds and pistachio.
