Shahi Tukda, as the name suggests, means royal dessert which is an exotic rich bread pudding flavoured with cardamom and saffron. It’s a simple recipe to make and can be served at any special occasions. Shahi Tukda is originally Mughlai desserts from the Nawabi cuisine.
Ingredients:
Milk: 1 ltr
Bread: 6-7 pieces
Khoya/ Mawa/ Dried Milk: 150 gm
Ghee/Clarified Butter: 1 cup
Pista Sliced: 50gm
Badam/ Almond Sliced: 50gm
Choti Elaichi/ Cardamom powder: 1/2 tsp
Kesar/ Saffron: 3-4 strands
Sugar: 1 Cup
