Shahi Tukray remind me of my childhood. Shahi Tukary was on of my favorite desserts.Growing up in Pakistan and celebrating Eid with my friends. The Shahi Turkey was a Eid staple. I’m exited to share Shahi Tukary recipe with you guys. Hope you like it.
Ingredients:
4 cups of Milk.
3 tbsp Sugar.
1 tsp Green Cardamom powder.
3/4 Cream.
4 cups of Water.
3 cups Sugar.
4-6 pieces of White Bread.
Shredded Coconut.
Almonds.
Recipe:
In a pan add 4 cups of milk. Bring it to a boil. Cook on medium low heat. Stir constantly. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Cook until the milk is half. Add cream and keep cooking until milk is thickened.
Cut the ends of the bread and cut not triangles. In a frying pan add oil. Fry the bread until its golden brown. Keep it aside.
In a dish lay the bread on the bottom.Add the cream mixture on the top. Top with the shredded coconut and almonds. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Enjoy.
