Simple & Tasty Chicken Curry you will ever make. Serve over hot cooked rice or Roti/Chapati
Ingredients
Chicken – 1LB / 500gm
Onions – 1 medium (chopped)
Green chillies – 5
Yogurt – 3 tbsp
Tomato – 1 (Paste)
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp + 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 2 tbsp
Salt To Taste
Garam Masala – 2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Water – 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves – few
Procedure
1. Marinate the chicken in Yogurt and 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste for 30 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, take a pan and heat oil on medium heat.
3. Add Cloves, Cardamom and Cinnamon. Fry for 1 minute.
4. Add Onions. Fry them until they turn light brown color.
5. Now, Add Ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell is gone.
6. Then Add red chilli powder and salt to onions and mix well.
7. Add tomato paste and fry for 2 minutes.
8. When the oil oozes out from onions, Add marinated chicken and fry on medium heat for 5 minutes. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
9. Add Green chillies to the chicken and mix well.
10. Now add Garam masala and coriander powder to chicken and mix well. 11. Add 1/2 cup water. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken is well cooked.
12. Garnish Chicken curry with Coriander leaves.
