HI, there today I am sharing here one of my daughter’s favorite recipes Simple chicken curry.
Very easy for beginners and can give it a try.
Ingredients:
Chicken:1.5 lbs(u can use any kind of chicken-like whole chicken or thigh or breast chicken)
(cut curry pieces medium size)
Tomato- 1 big size (cut into medium pieces)
Onion -1 big size (cut into squares)
Green chili – 2 (cut into pieces)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
Chicken masala powder – 1tbsp
Oil – 4 tbsps
salt to taste
Procedure:
First, add oil and let it heat now add 2 cloves immediately add chopped onions bit of salt. now keep stirring it for a minute on medium heat.
Let the onions turn into golden brown color.
now add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
now add tomatoes chili pieces let it cook for few minutes.
Once tomatoes are soft add turmeric and mix it well.
Now add chicken pieces to the onions&tomato mix and combine them all together and cook for 5 minutes.
Now water will release from the chicken again mix it and now add red chili powder &required salt.
Now cover it &cook for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes mix it again now add 200 ml or more water and cook completely until the chicken gets tender.
At the end add the chicken masala powder and keep the heat high let evaporate all the water from the chicken.
NOw very yummy chicken curry is ready to serve.
You can serve this with rice or any flatbread.
