A simple and delicious saucy Turkish chicken dish that is incredibly easy to make and the perfect healthy comfort food.
The recipe for tava does not have to be exact, you can add more or less of your ingredients to taste. The secret ingredient for the Turkish taste is the red peppers. Serve with rice or I even enjoyed it with bread/naan!
Ingredients:
Olive oil 4 tablespoons
Onion 2 large
Sauté until onion soften
Garlic 30g
Mushroom 200g
Chicken 800g
Salt 2 teaspoons
Cook until chicken is done.
Tomato 600g
Harissa paste 5 tablespoons
Black pepper 1/2 teaspoons
Butter 60g
tomato paste 3 tablespoons
Water 200 ml
Let it simmer, stirring occasionally.
Bell pepper 1 large
Cook for a couples of minutes.
