A classic comfort food! My friends LOVE when I cook them this recipe.
Can easily be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated to share with a neighbor or family member later or keep as a freezer meal.
This is basically my dinner meal prep for the week, so easy!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of flour
1 cup milk
1 cup chicken broth
add 1-2 tsp of cornstarch to thicken if needed
1 can mixed vegetables, use whatever veggies you have or prefer
1 cup rotisserie chicken
2 layers of pie crust, store-bought or homemade
1 egg for egg wash
salt and pepper
If you don’t have a pie dish any casserole dish will work just as well, or make individual chicken pot pies in ramekins.
