THE WALKING DEAD HALLOWEEN COCKTAIL is no joke! It’s base is Absinthe and Bacardi 151 and it looks just like vomit. Peach schnapps, Bailey’s Irish Cream and ginger beer are then added to complete this halloween masterpiece.

Here’s the story behind the cocktail: ” Shortly after awakening from the wound inflicted by the gunshot earlier on, Rick wanders the streets gazing upon the wasteland that surrounds him. The silence leaves an eerie taste in his mouth and uneasiness floods his soul.
While walking down one of the streets within the graveyard of abandoned cars, Rick sees no sign of life, just the stench of death surrounding him. In the distance he starts to see movement, maybe he thought, “I’m not alone”. To his dismay, he realizes that the movement he saw was that of a little girl presumably injured holding her stuffed doll. He called out to her but at first she did not answer. Rick began to call out louder finally gaining her attention in turn provoking her to turn around. It was then he saw the injuries, the blood upon her clothes and face partially gone. Still not knowing what transpired while he was in the hospital he still presumed she was just an injured girl. It wasn’t until the little girl began to walk towards him with hunger in her eyes, that the harsh reality flooded his heart. Left with no choice, he shot the girl in the head. The dream of a normal life is now flooded with the realization of a living nightmare. With eyes now opened to the harsh reality that surrounds him, he must struggle to find the cause and search for his family.
With blood soaked grounds and rotting flesh surrounding you, chaos will flood your thoughts and soul. This cocktail is no different than the harsh realities that surrounded Rick and his men in the show. In creating this cocktail I wanted to keep the scene of the child among the cars intact and the predominant part of this drink. The innocence of a child is symbolized by the sweetness of the Peach Schnapps but the dead that she has become is symbolized by the curdling of the Irish Cream and potency of the Absinthe and Bacardi 151. The bitterness is brought upon by the Ginger Beer and the shot to the head by the Grenadine. Initially this cocktail appears very disgusting, but just as the Rick’s original perception of the little girl prior to his realization of her being undead, you can’t judge a book by its cover. Give this a good stir and you’ll be in for a tasty treat. Who would’ve known the reality of the undead would taste so sweat.”

1 oz. (30ml) Baileys Irish Cream
