Tofu Salad Recipe | How to make Healthy Tofu Vegetable Salad for Weight Loss| Dinner / Lunch Recipe


One of my favourite Tofu salad Recipe because it’s so simple, delicious and extremely healthy. The mixed herbs, sesame and tangy lemon dressing makes it even more tastier. I have added sprouts, tomatoes and carrots you can also do your variations by adding more veggies and other sprouts of your choice. High on protein and fibre this makes for a perfect lunch or dinner recipe for weight loss.

Ingredients to make Tofu Salad:-

100 g HomeMade Tofu
1 small cup Jowar /sorghum (2-3 tbsp)
1 small cup mung dal sprouts (2-3 tbsp)
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp mixed herbs
1/2 tsp turmeric powder/haldi
1/2 tsp rock salt
1/2 tsp roasted Cumin seeds powder/jeera
1/2 tsp coriander powder/ Dhaniya
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp oregano
1 chopped tomato
1 chopped carrot
Some baby spinach leaves
Some mixed nuts and seeds to sprinkle on top
1 tsp raw Honey ( optional)

Method to make vegetable Tofu salad:-

Cut homemade Tofu in cubes ( size of your choice)
In a pan heat 1 tsp olive oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds and mixed herbs
Add diced Tofu and mix well, sautéed the Tofu for few minutes on low heat until crispy.
Add turmeric, rock salt, Cumin powder, coriander powder and oregano mix everything together
Add chopped tomatoes, carrots and few leaves of baby spinach
On top add dressing of lime juice and vinegar
Transfer the salad on a plate and on top add some nuts and seeds of your choice.
You can also add honey after switching off the flames ( optional)
You’re healthy Tofu salad for weight loss is ready to be consumed

If you are having it in dinner try to have your dinner before 8pm for better result.
