Alyena will show you how to make a delicious and nutritious turmeric smoothie that is a great meal replacement drink or perfect for pre or post workout. Turmeric contains bioactive compounds with medicinal properties and is a natural anti-inflammatory compound.
Turmeric Smoothie Recipe:
1 frozen banana (gives creaminess)
2 cups of pineapple
(we used frozen, but it makes the smoothie very thick)
1 tsp of ground turmeric
(or 1 Tbsp of fresh turmeric)
1/4 tsp of ground ginger
1 Tbsp of hemp seeds
1 cup of almond milk
Blend all together. Enjoy
