Whole Chicken Recipe
5 quart or larger slow cooker
Ingredients
1 whole fryer chicken
olive oil or butter, to taste
minced garlic, to taste
onion powder, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Remove chicken from package.
2. Remove innards from inside cavity and discard.
3. Rinse chicken well and place in slow cooker.
4. Drizzle with oil or butter and season to taste.
5. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours.
6. Carefully remove chicken and debone.
NOTE- The chicken will make its own broth.

Loaded New Potatoes:
4 to 6 quart slow cooker
Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
2 pounds new potatoes, washed and quartered
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon thyme
Mrs. Dash – Garlic and Herb seasoning, to taste
1 small yellow onion, chopped
Directions
1. Place new potatoes and onion in slow cooker and drizzle with olive oil.
2. Season with salt and pepper, Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning, and thyme.
3. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
Ingredients to top cooked potatoes after they have cooked (Not shown in video)
½ cup green onions, chopped
1 ½ cups chopped broccoli
2 cups shredded chicken
6 to 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions for topping cooked potatoes after they have cooked (Not shown in video):
1. Top potatoes with all ingredients and stir to combine.
2. Cover and cook on LOW for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Broccoli and Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls
Ingredients
1 ½ to 2 cups shredded, cooked chicken
1 ½ cups chopped broccoli, fresh or frozen
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ cup chicken broth
2 to 3 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
non-stick cooking spray
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a medium to large mixing bowl, mix together shredded chicken, mushroom soup, chicken broth, and cheddar cheese. Carefully fold in broccoli.
3. Unroll crescents and separate on a cutting board.
4. Dollop chicken and broccoli mixture onto each crescent and roll up. Repeat until all crescents are filled and rolled.
5. Spray 13×9 baking dish with cooking spray and place crescents inside.
6. Bake uncovered for 15-30 minutes, as needed.
