Amazing YAKHNI White CHICEKN Pulao, a recipe that will make you stand out from others. As many people have like the Degi Yakhni Pulao, I am sure that this one will be a good addition to the list of recipes as well. Let’s dive into it.

INGREDIENTS:

1 kg of CHICKEN
1/2 a cup of yoghurt
3 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste
1.5 tablespoons of fennel seeds (coarsely ground)
3 tablespoons of ground coriander
1.5 teaspoons of ground (white) cumin seeds
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper (or whole black pepper)
Juice from 2 lemons
1 bay leaf,
Some nutmeg
1-2 pieces of star anise
4 cardamoms
A few tiny pieces of cinnamon bark
3-4 cloves.
1.5 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup of water
150 grams of desi ghee (clarified butter); or mix ghee and oil
6 chopped onions
2-3 bay leaves
2-3 small pieces of cinnamon bark
Some nutmeg
1-3 cardamoms
1 star anise
A few cloves
A few whole black peppercorns
3 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste
Some paste made out of 7-8 green chillies
Finely chopped coriander and peppermint
1/2 a cup of yoghurt
1/2 a tablespoon of ground fennel seeds
3 tomatoes, sliced
11 cups of water
1.5 kg (7 1/2 cups) of Basmati rice, already soaked
3 1/4 tablespoons salt

For garnish:

Coriander
Some whole green chillies
Half of the fried onions from earlier
