A Parotta/Kerala porotta/Malabar porotta is a layered flatbread, originated from the Indian subcontinent, made from maida flour, popular in India. It is originated in Tamil Nadu especially in the central region region. It is a common street food in southern India especially in Tamil Nadu and kerala . It is also available in other South Indian states like Karnataka, Maharashtra and countries like United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka.
— INGREDIENTS (Porotta)—
All purpose flour / Maida – 1 Kg
Sugar – 2 teaspoon
Salt – 1 Teaspoon
Water – 1 1/2 Cup (450 ml)
Refined Oil – 100 ml

Beef – 1.5 Kg
Onion (medium) – 5
Green chilli – 5
Tomatoes – 2
Ginger chopped – 2 tbsp
Garlic chopped – 2 tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
